Possum with the Johnson's!!!

We were able to get together with Mom, Dad, Adam, Haley and Haley's family at PK this month! I had so much fun!!!

Adam & Haley
We rented a boat for 4 hours. It was a cute little thing--with little power. It did manage to get most of us out of the water for a little play time! Jenny with Adam's neice. This is totally a posed pict because Jenny really did not want to go for a boat ride.
Adam and me.
Me one-skiing. I've only ever done it behind the jet ski. The training rope really helps!!
Justin one-skiing while Adam drove. One-skiing while Adam drove-good. Knee boarding while Adam drove-NOT good. It gave us all a good laugh anyway!!!! Thanks Adam and Justin for being the object of our humor!!
Mom and Dad--ready to cruise!
The pooped pup. She fought it for so long!
I have my own personal Mr. Food at my house!! He has a gift. The wok makes camp-cooking sooooo great (and easy too)!
Jenny reading the PK Chamber of Commerce book on the way home with upside down sunglasses---is there really any other way to wear them?? I really put this pict in to tell another story that doesn't even show up. I looked back on her window and there were smeared finger prints all over her window. I asked her what happened and she said, "I made a Cheez-It rainbow." I thought, "Ok, because that was such a cleaver response, I'll just leave it for a while!"
Jenny played in her little pool for about 2 days straight while mom and dad watched her. She Loved it!! And I appreciate the fact that it takes so little to please her!

UpperCase Living

My cousin LaShawn sells UpperCase Living. There is some pretty cool stuff! I put this saying above the window by our dining table. I think it is my favorite!
This one is in the laundry room and says, "I'm thankful for my piles of laundry, it means my loved ones are nearby." I thought I put a closer up picture on here, but guess I didn't.
"Mi casa es su casa." Truly! I'm not purposefully a bad hostess, but if you come to my house I truly expect you to make yourself so at home that you prowl through the fridge, pantry, cabinets, whatever simply b/c I just forget to be a proper hostess.
"Now and forever" above our bed. I only have 3 picts for now in the frames. One was a just-dating picture, one an engagement, and the one on the left was us with Annie and Ruthie when we just found out we were pregnant with Jenny. Justin and I just celebrated our 6th anniversary last weekend and took another pict so I will add it to the "now and forever" wall soon!

Pre-grass

This was a picture of when we 1st moved in back in May. Wow-the garage was a wreck!!
Pre-grass. Too bad we didn't get the seed out before all of the great rain at the beginning of July.

Catching Up

I could seriously label almost every post, catching up b/c that's all I ever do with it is play catch-up. Oh well! : )

Back when we had many rainy days, we were in the car. Jenny HATES the car wash, so rain isn't much better b/c it makes noise and messes up her view. She got Nay Nay to save her this day by covering up her ears and eyes!
Justin pushing Jenny in Gander Mt. She knows when we pull in the parking lot at Gander Mt. and at Home Depot that she can ride in the cool car baskets!
Hard at work!!
Jenny's favorite thing to play right now is "take the babies shopping." They go to all of our favorites: Hobby Lobby, Kirklands, Target, Sam's and Wal-Mart.
Jenny helping water the grass. This grass is NEEDY!!!!! The tiny touch of sod is not as needy as the seeded grass! Never knew putting in a new yard was soooo much work.
Jenny at Jump-N-Jungle. Found out they are open to the public on Thursday nights. We had fun!
WE GOT TO PICK CORN!!!!! Jenny's 1st corn pickin' experience!!!! I really, really like corn on the cob and was sooooo super excited to go pick it. Picking it, shucking it, freezing it... brought back soooo many memories of when we used to all go out with Memaw to the corn field.
