The Christmas Train!

We went into the mall and saw (only with our eyes) Santa. Jenny had to stay on the wall as far away from him as possible. The choo-choo train is right behind him though and goes only feet from him so that made the train out for Jenny. We had to watch some other kids go first and see that Santa didn't attack them before she would even think about getting in herself! Anyhow, she saw that it was safe and went for a choo-choo ride.

Memaw and Granddad ventured to the mall with us on their 57th Anniversary!!!!! Wow!!! Happy Anniversary!!
My dad is wearing my Granddad Johnson's hat! I think it's way cool and it totally made me think of my Granddad as soon as he put it on : )

Way to Go Adam!!

"Ride, ride, ride, ride
Ride 'em Cowboys, down the field
Fight, fight, fight, fight
fight 'em Cowboys, and never yield
Ride, ride, ride, ride
Ride on Cowboys to victory
Cross (anyone besides Texas Tech's) goal,
Then we'll sing,
Oklahoma State!
Ride 'em Cowboys, ee-yah!
Ride 'em Cowboys, ee-yah!"

We got to go up to Stillwater, OK for "Uncle Adam-ation" last weekend!!!! Yea for Adam!!! It was such a fun graduation! The speaker got an AgEcon degree from OSU back in the day and then went on to become a  trial lawyer, then worked at Victoria's Secret and now Coach in New York! What an amazing, almost unbelievable line-up of jobs! One of the announcers of names for the Business college must have been a sports announcer because it was like he was introducing the starting line-up at a basketball game. Anyhow, Adam now has his B.S. in Business Management!!! We're so proud!
Dad, Haley, Mom, Me, Adam, Justin, Memaw, Jenny, and Granddad--sure wish Grandma could have been in this picture!!
 Adam & Haley
Kelsey, Karla, and my dad's brother Jim
My Grandma Bonnie. : ) If you see the man standing behind her a little ways--he was D-R-U-N-K!!!! Graduation was fun and entertaining, but he added a little something of his own! : )

"Milk & Cookies"

"Now I know what he likes for a late night snack
For years now it's been bringing him back
Milk and cookies" Clint Black

Jenny and I made cookies. She was really a great helper!! When she was helping me I was very careful about measuring and such. On recipe #2, I told her to watch Mickey Mouse while I mixed them and she could help me cut with the cookie cutters. Well, I wasn't so careful when measuring without her by my side and put in 4 T. of baking powder instead of 4 t.!!! That went in the trash; we ran to the store and started over with Jenny's help, of course!!!!

All the cookies. Not sure how many cookies we made, but it was nine recipes. We had a ton of fun!!
 Making the icing!

Ta Da!!! We have blue bells, yellow stars, red gingerbread boys and girls, and green trees!!

A Vintage Winter Wonderland!

Justin, Jenny, & I drove through Vintage on Friday night. We weren't sure what to do so we called Heather and ended up stopping by their house and taking Addi! Jenny and Addison play so great together!!! It was so much fun! I highly recommend making a stop out there this December! They had this huge sleigh to take pictures in, carriage rides, music, a great little play ground, hot chocolate, and I'm sure more!!!

Dancing & Walking Like a Duck...In Church???

We took Jenny to her first symphony this month...funny thing is that it was Justin's and my first symphony as well. (At least that I know of.) It happened to be at our church. Anyhow, it was amazing! Jenny would have loved it more if she could've danced and clapped through the entire thing. Anyhow, the first song was L---O---N---G and boring if I must say so. During this song we were sitting around some "classy" folks and Jenny, watching the conductor, practically yells (okay, so I'm sure it wasn't quite a yell, but at the time it really seemed like it!), "Why is he dancing and walking like a duck?!?" Oh my, talk about mortified, but it was so funny I almost laughed out loud. Justin took her out after that comment and they went to the balcony for the rest of the performance. I joined them a couple of songs later, and we all ended up enjoying the amazing Christmas music!!

On Wednesday we got to go shopping with Memaw and Granddad. Jenny had been a trooper and not caused too much trouble all day. We left them at their car and ran to Hobby Lobby. I thought she had fallen asleep because she got so quiet. When we got there I told her she sure had been quiet and then saw why:

The rest of the story: Last Sunday at church I remembered that we needed milk before we went home. I didn't have anything to write on so I wrote very small on my hand "milk". Well Jenny saw it; so Sunday night, Monday, and Tuesday she also wrote very small on her hand a "little note". She said her note said, "Santa Claus is coming to my house." Wednesday's note just got really huge, "Santa Claus is coming to my house!!!" She doesn't want to talk to him or sit by him or anything, but she does want me to tell him what she wants so she won't be left out!

A turkey is a funny bird...

His head goes wobble, wobble!
He only knows one funny word
Gobble, gobble, gobble!
(sung to Pop Goes the Weasel)
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Instead of Where's Waldo? Where's Jenny? I thought she had gone outside with Justin b/c the house was so quiet. No, I finally found her in the blue box in her room. She had dumped everything out and climbed in to play. Her head can barely be seen peeking out.
 Jenny dressed the duck up!
 Happy Thanksgiving at school!!
Mae & Leon gave Jenny a "Strawberry Cupcake" doll and remote control car! You would've thought she had just won the lottery! I wish I would have recorded it--it was priceless!
Justin chillin' out with his new coffee mug from Mallory and Justin.
Jenny loved this little vanity. She sat there and did her hair forever!
The highlight of Jenny's weekend. DANCING! Kevin & Angel made their garage into a "lounge". It was so awesome! It had a dance floor, with cool lights, and a d.j./karaoke set up! They had all kinds of music including Elmo's Splish-Splash! Jenny danced the night away with Emma and Viv!
Jenny and Emma doing the dishes. They had so much fun! Jenny's shirt has a radio on it. She woke up this morning so excited and ready to go dance again. She wore her radio shirt so she could "turn the music on and dance all day"!!!
 Memaw/Grandma Jean!
Dance night #2! Featuring Emma on vocals!
