Mom came to visit

Mom came down at the end of June for a bit. We hung out and got to play at Memaw's in the pool and with Addison. We had a great visit!

Sea World

The lady sitting behind us was in the finals for her crazy dancing and so Jenny's head is on her tummy on the Jumbo-tron.

We went down to Lake Granger at the end of June with Will & Rene. Justin had meetings on Monday and Tuesday, but we were able to squeeze in a trip over to San Antonio to Sea World. Jenny was definitely not to sure at the first show, but she warmed up after that. A friend of ours went with us and she and Justin rode a water ride--I don't like water rides--the water really grosses me out. Then the three of us rode a roller coaster--I do like roller coasters A LOT!! We really had a good trip. We left early Wed. morning so Justin could get back for a meeting. We dropped him off at work, drove less than 100 yards and the pick-up BROKE. (and I mean broke!) It was in the shop for 3 weeks and even had the mechanics there stumped--they had to get Ford engineers on the phone to figure it out--turned out to be a timing belt on the front of the motor, but that was after replacing some coils, the fuel pump, something with the air filter... Anyhow, it's fixed now and we are thankful to have it back.

The last 2 weeks!

ADAM'S MARRIED!!! We went up to Canadian last weekend for Adam & Haley's wedding! It was beautiful and everything went great! Justin, Jenny, and I had a ton of fun, and it was so good to see the family!! I was so disappointed with the pictures I got though--I was busy keeping up with Jenny and all that I didn't take many or get many good picts. Hopefully someone else got some good ones and will share. Most of all, I feel really bad that I did not get one picture of Adam and Haley!!

Jenny has discovered a kiddie pool and it's her favorite new thing!! She just calls it "wawa". I filled it up one morning about 10ish and figured that would give it a while to warm up before we got in it that afternoon---NO she wanted in right then and cried when I told her we had to take a break. After she took a nap we went back out and she stayed in for 3 more hours!! She saw where I put it up at and the next morning she went and knocked on the door where it was at and yelled "wawa!" So we got it out again and while I walked around the corner to get the hose she crawled in it with her clothes on--she was very excited!!

We went to Critter Fest yesterday at the Science Spectrum with Cade and Kenlea (Connie and LaShawn too). She was not so crazy about the animals, but she had fun with her cousins--especially in the room for kids under 5!

Jenny got Daddy a new backpack for his lap top for Father's Day--she wore it in to show him--Mom's creative wrapping!!!

Jenny really likes to play on her 4-wheeler. She is getting braver with it. She likes to go over the rock pile at PaPa's (with a little help). When daddy takes her for rides on the big 4-wheeler, he goes up and down the ditches and so she thinks she needs to go down the ditch in her little one too.

A trip up north--Oklahoma!

Jenny and I went up to see mom and dad last week. We had fun. Mom retaught me to sew. It came back to me fairly quickly and was actually fun--even with the extra help from Jenny. Jenny got to go ride the famous train for the first time. My grandparents took Adam and I to ride the train when we would visit them in the summers and I think my dad even rode the train when he was a kid. When he was a kid there were little ponies at the park too. Grandma joined us for the ride which was pretty neat that she took dad, then me, and now Jenny. Jenny really enjoyed the little cars, train, and her first carousel ride! It was a great trip.

Memorial Weekend--Ya, I'm very behind.

For Memorial weekend this year, we took our 4th annual trip to Possom Kingdom lake. It is my favorite lake for many reasons, and this trip is one I look forward to all year! It is always a great time with family and friends!! This year was a pretty rainy year--still loads of fun! Jenny had a super trip with lots of grandparent time--Rene, Will, Dad and Mom were all there!! She loved the jet ski, but most often it just put her to sleep. She had fun playing with Kayden, Cole, Case and the other kids--we don't get to see them very often anymore, which made it even more special. Jim Bob and Tia treated us to music--they win Entertainer of the Year award--thanks you guys--it was great!! I am definitely looking forward to next year!
